Dalgona Coffee Pancakes

Fluffy, golden pancakes topped with a cloud of whipped, creamy Dalgona coffee foam — the perfect sweet and caffeinated breakfast treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat.

Ingredients:

For the pancakes:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 ¼ cups milk

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Dalgona coffee foam:

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee powder

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp hot water

Instructions:

  1. Make the pancakes:

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.

  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed (some lumps are okay).

  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, grease lightly.

  • Pour batter (about ¼ cup per pancake) and cook until bubbles form on top, then flip and cook until golden. Repeat.

  1. Whip the Dalgona coffee:

  • In a bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.

  • Using a hand mixer or whisk, whip vigorously for 3-5 minutes until light, fluffy, and creamy.

  1. Assemble:

  • Stack pancakes on a plate.

  • Dollop or spread generous amounts of the whipped Dalgona coffee foam on top of the stack.

  • Optional: drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle cocoa powder.
